BEGIN IN ME

 In just a few days we will be celebrating July 4, the birth of our nation.  It is a time to celebrate, reflect, and pray for God's guidance.  I can never celebrate July 4 without considering the price paid by our forefathers in establishing this nation.  There were many hardships.  There was the war for independence.  Always, there was the acknowledgement of God and prayer for His guidance.  On several occasions I’ve stood in the Jefferson Memorial and been moved by the words which have expressed dependence on God.  While we have often had gifted leaders, make no mistake about it, depending on God and seeking His help is what has made this a great nation...      (Click here for article)      (Click here for July Newsletter)
